Abstract: The paper presents a new type of industrial flooring, made under modular system, with implications on the concept modification regarding the capitalization of small-sized wood resulted from timber edging or small-sized round wood resulted from forest exploitation.
The general idea has in view "the reconstituition of a square section log", from scantling parts previously processed, using adhesives.
The "wooden recomposed block" will be sectioned and "modules" having the shape of slabs will be obtained and then, after some processing steps, they will become flooring modules, forming the "flooring field".
The paper also presents the modules fixing solutions in the construction, either directly or by using some intermediary elements which can be applied by the producer or by the customer during mounting.

Key words: floorings, minipavings, modular system.
