Rezumat:
Lucrarea prezinta rezultatele unei cercetari efectuate
in scopul stabilirii daca proprietatile lemnului
de molid inghetat (in conditii de iarna) sunt
diferite de cele ale lemnului neinghetat in ceea
ce priveste prelucrarea sa. Epruvetele din lemn
de molid, debitate din acelasi bustean, au fost,
jumatate dintre acestea, inghetate la -30°C,
iar cealalta jumatate lasate neinghetate, dupa
care au fost ferastruite in conditii absolut identice
de prelucrare (aceeasi masina, aceeasi scula,
aceleasi dispozitive si aceleasi regimuri de aschiere),
pentru a determina comparativ consumurile energetice
in cele doua cazuri. Rezultatele obtinute au relevat
ca inghetarea determina o reducere vizibila a
puterii necesare de taiere, respectiv aparenta
reducere a rezistentelor mecanice ale lemnului.
